I am currently taking another print class. This is part of a series on the lost skills of everyday sewing. Now I know that doesn't include you or me but for the general population it is true. Not only can't they sew their own clothes, they can't mend or sew on a button. The tradition of passing skills from mother to daughter is gone. So for this series I used rust to symbolize the neglected and unused skill of sewing.
The outside of my Rusty Skills Book. Below are some pages.
Brought to you by Jdemilo.
