One block short
I am making good progress on my QAYG quilt. In fact, it would be finished now if I had not discovered I was one block short. I don't know where it went but I am going to have to sew, quilt, and trim a new block before the last row of blocks can be attached and the quilt top bound. It is a very busy quilt--I don't know if anyone will be able to sleep under it--but I like it.

New QAYG Quilt
I have started a new Quilt As You Go (QAYG) quilt using some of my many, many leftover traditional blocks from the white, black, and red quilts I made a few years back. I am slicing and dicing the traditional blocks to add a bit more interest before doing the stitch and flip technique. Here is one of the larger 12x 12 blocks with the center leftover block sliced and diced. I have 22 blocks done. Just need to make 8 more and then start assembling them.
