The first was the Book Award for Rusty Skills. The book represents sewing skills that are being lost in the younger generation.
The second award was a purchase award. The faculty of the Art Department voted unanimously to purchase my art cloth. The art cloth is 56" by 34" and is a silkscreen print. It is now in the permanently art collection of the University of Maine at Augusta.
Off to the right of this picture is another piece that I made. It is 3-D Rust.
